When you are renting a house the central heating, ventilation, and A/C that may or may not be in there and part of the house rental should not be your responsibility, however many of these house management companies and house owners try to stick the tenants with the job of taking care of their central heating, ventilation, and A/C unit.
This is not right! If you ever find yourself in this situation and the house owner or house management is having you responsible for anything other than changing the air filters of the central heating, ventilation, and A/C, you can and have the right to refuse and contact legal help if needed… Landlords of any kind are not supposed to make the tenants responsible for heating, ventilation, and A/C service.
This includes and is not limited to air duct cleaning, deep air duct cleaning, air duct sealing, heating, ventilation, and A/C tune up and check ups, Heating, Ventilation and A/C unit washings and anything else you can possibly suppose of that involves ongoing heating, ventilation, and A/C service. Also you should never have to pay for anything other than the air filters to the central heating, ventilation, and A/C unit. If the heat and A/C unit ever breaks down, it is the house owner who needs to pay for the heating, ventilation, and A/C repair! Never get stuck with any bill. This is just something that all had to be said and pointed out to those who do not know this. It is important to stand your ground.
