When I went outside the other day to wash my HVAC unit, I was shocked to see that there was some kind of bee’s nest in there! I could not tell if it was bees, yellow jackets, wasps or honey bees.
All I knew is that there was a hive in there! I right away was freaking out because I do not know how to handle this sort of thing.
So I went right inside and made a phone call to the local exterminator to get someone out as soon as possible to either relocate the bee’s nest, or kill em all together! I kind of felt bad in a way, because bees, wasps and yellow jackets are not intentionally out to hurt anyone. But the way I see it, is it’s either their life or mine! I am allergic to bee stings, and even yellow jackets and wasps. I could not even risk to take the chance. When the exterminator came out to take a look at the HVAC unit with the bees in it, I asked him if he needed to kill them all, or, if he could just do a nest relocation off my property to somewhere that was not going to bother or harm other humans. Sadly, the exterminator said there was no other way to safely remove this bees nest other than to kill the bees, and then destroy the nest. I went along with it of course, as I had no choice in the matter really. It was freaky!
