Just the other day, I woke up feeling incredibly overheated. I thought maybe somebody in the house decided to shut off the A/C for some reason. Sometimes my wife will turn off the thermostat if she thinks it’s too cold instead of just adjusting the thermostat. When I went to the thermostat, it was on and it was set to cooling but there was no cooling air coming from the HVAC vents. The thing that really killed me was the fact that the indoor temperature was showing 85 degrees! It was way too hot for me. It was clear that the thermostat was fine, so I knew that there had to be something wrong with my HVAC system. So I decided to call up the HVAC company so that I could have somebody over to help with the problem. When the HVAC technician arrived to our home, he first checked the thermostat just like I did. He said he always checks the thermostat first. He told me I would be surprised how many people didn’t realize that their batteries were dead in the thermostat and it was an easy fix. This however was clearly not the thermostat. Besides, we have a smart thermostat and it doesn’t require any batteries to be operated. So the HVAC Technician checked everything else out. I was happy when he told me that he discovered the problem. There was a certain part he said that needed to be replaced, and fortunately he had the part on him. So he went ahead and replaced the part. When he had everything ready to go, he then fired up the A/C system. I was happy because it was working perfectly!
