I had to come to terms with the reality of my financial situation last winter.
There was no way I was going to survive with only one income.
It was time to find odd ways to acquire more money since life was becoming more lavish. The pinch of heavy inflation is being felt worldwide plus the prices of everything are going up, even for basic commodities like food plus non-food items that my buddy and I all need. When this reality hit, I was facing a major financial decision in my property that would mean using up almost all of my savings. See, just last winter I had to hire a heating and A/C serviceman several times to service the old furnace in my home. In this whole area, you can’t really survive winter without some type of furnace. It’s even better to have a wood stove plus a supply of wood to use while in the 5 months of severe winter. So, I had to contact the heating and A/C company each time there was an issue with my furnace. The cost of heating service was high, so he provided me with solid advice. There was no need to keep paying for heating repairs yet it was clear what I needed was a current heating unit. It would cost me a lot of money to replace the aging unit, but I’d refrain from paying for heating repairs each time there was an issue. This is also when I had to use the savings I had to update my furnace, plus I realized I needed to acquire more money, and perhaps I’d go back to singing plus playing guitar in bars which used to acquire me fantastic money at night plus on the weekend.
