They’re ready to be learning again

All of us are finally going out and getting ready to start back to regular class after weeks of not being able to go into the school.

One thing that our kids noticed about the class back before they finally stopped going when the shutdowns started was the way the indoor air conditions were clearly suffering.

They consistently said that on tepid afternoons, the indoor air conditioner was consistently blowing full blast and the room would get far too cold. They said that the air vents were right above the art desks and the AC actually would blow down right on their heads throughout the whole class. They would regularly come out after class was over, and they would ask me to turn the heating on at full blast in the car. Which of course I wouldn’t do, because the temperature outside was still feeling rather warm back then. That was in the early Springtime before all of the corona shutdowns took place, and the weather was still heating up. Anyway, now that they are happy to be finally getting to go back to class on an in person basis, plus they were entirely glad to report that the indoor air conditions in the little classroom was much better now than it was before the shutdowns all started in the first place. Apparently the university completely redid the whole central Heating and Air Conditioning plan while they were closed down, and the contracted commercial Heating and Air Conditioning corporation who did the task did a fantastic job. I’m actually feeling rather blissful that they have everything straightened out now.
