I was cheerful and calm as I sat on the sofa with my dog curled up beside me.
The warmth of the portable space heating system was comforting, and my dog’s soft snores were pretty cute as well.
My dog would flinch like she was having a terrible dream and her flinch turned into a kick. That kick hit the portable space heater. I heard a loud thud as it hit the ground. I took a look and saw that the portable space heating system was tipped over. I got uneasy because I saw a little spark come from it and I quickly turned it off and unplugged it in fear of a possible fire. My dog appeared startled and scared at what happened and I was a bit angry at him for kicking it! But can I easily be mad at my dog for kicking something when she was sleeping? It doesn’t seem quite right to get angry at my dog for not understanding what happened so I slowly petted him and told him it will be ok. I knew I couldn’t live on a portable space heating system forever and it was time to get heating and cooling tech to repair our heating system. I have been kind of lazy about calling the heating and cooling company but it’s time to get that done. It’s been a few years since the heating and cooling system has been looked at but when it started to malfunction, I couldn’t afford to get a heating and cooling tech to look at and repair it. Then I started using a portable space heater. It did the trick but now it’s broken and I’ll have no heat. At least now, I have the money to get it repaired.
