Working in the HVAC business

At the time that I finally turned 16 & got my first work, I was able to get in on a work at an Heating, Ventilation & A/C facility.

  • This wasn’t just any Heating, Ventilation & A/C facility though, this facility was the largest Heating, Ventilation & A/C producer in the entire galaxy! I was so blessed just to be finally working there, especially for my first work.

I had little experience finally working with oil furnaces, air conditioning systems, & air cleaners, however after only a few weeks there, I knew the basics finally workings of most Heating, Ventilation & A/C devices! When I turned 18 I decided to go to my local college to get a degree in Heating, Ventilation & A/C mechanics. I finished my degree & came right back to the Heating, Ventilation & A/C facility in my hometown where I got my first work & they hired myself and others to be one of their travelling Heating, Ventilation & A/C mechanics. I was honored to have gotten in so abruptly & did my best to be the best Heating, Ventilation & A/C mechanic I could, and after a few short years of finally working with this same Heating, Ventilation & A/C corporation, I became the head Heating, Ventilation & A/C mechanic & was moved to a high management position. I loved that I got to make cash doing what I loved, fixing air conditioning units, oil furnaces, & other Heating, Ventilation & A/C units. It has now been 20 years since I first started finally working for this Heating, Ventilation & A/C corporation, & at the moment I have the opportunity to become CEO of the corporation. While this is an amazing opportunity, I am torn between 2 things. If I become CEO, I will be managing the Heating, Ventilation & A/C professionals & no longer doing what I love, fixing Heating, Ventilation & A/C units. I needed to choose between cash, & what I liked doing. In the end I chose to keep my management position & keep finally working on Heating, Ventilation & A/C units. I assumed that it was better to be happy than rich.
