You don’t always have to be warm to fall asleep

Today I was watching a TV program with my good friend and “boss,” and I could not for the life of me stay awake. I was supposed to be cleaning his house, but he wanted to watch some paranormal shows that he recorded, and since I like all that stuff too, he invited me to sit down and put my feet up and enjoy learning about ghosts, poltergeists, and spirits in general. It was so lovely. The air conditioner was going full blast so it was almost cold in the room, and I had been awake since 4 am that morning. So, as I’m watching the show, I can’t help but be nodding off. Before today, I thought that when a person is just the right amount of warmth that is when they want to take a nap. But today I was cooling off from work, enjoying the air conditioner, and I repeatedly fell asleep because I was just the right amount of cold. In fact, just thinking about it has the sandman doing his best job to make me take a nap for a few hours. This is one instance where I think maybe I should have turned off the air conditioner. Who knows, though, maybe I would have fallen asleep without the extra conditioning. And if it had been winter, the furnace likely would have had me falling asleep as well. The moral of the story is that whether you are a little bit hot or a little bit cold, you are just the right temperature to fall asleep. Additionally, my boss friend definitely does not need and HVAC provider. Unless of course he decides he wants central air for both heating and cooling.
