Anyone that has spent any time in the South easily knows – Humidity is the enemy.
I have recently taken up walking in an attempt to lose a good amount of weight.
It’s January & I expected to be bundling up. Instead, today it is a balmy 71 degrees – ideal t-shirt weather for a quick single mile walk. Until you walk out the door & the humidity is 100%. I know – I looked it up on WeatherUnderground. I was tempted to completely cut my walk short just to get back inside to my friendly cooling appliance… If humidity is the enemy, then your cooling appliance is definitely your friend! Just thinking about that lovely cooling appliance waiting for me actually made it tempting to completely cut my walk short. The temperature control equipment can be set on 72 degrees, but as long as the cooling appliance kicks on every so often, it will help control the inside humidity levels. Most people do not honestly think about their cooling appliance as being a dehumidifier. Some water restoration repair providers will suggest their purchasers to use their cooling appliance as a dehumidifier if they have had water destruction to their dwelling. While the bunch of us easily know dehumidification is not the primary function of any cooling appliance, it will actually help control the moisture in your dwelling. I have also observed that cooking & pet smells are more prevalent when the humidity level is higher in the dwelling & the cooling appliance seems to help control these smells as it lowers the humidity. Our cooling appliances task for us in more ways than the bunch of us think & they are undoubtedly our friend.
