Changing to better a/c

Because I chose a top of the line air conditioner that features a 26 SEER rating, the electric bills aren’t inadequate

I waited a long time before finally setting up central a/c. I live in an area with especially long winters, cold Springtime as well as fall seasons as well as genuinely short summers. After running the gas furnace for weeks at a time, I looked ahead to opening the windows in the summer. I appreciated the fresh air and was relieved to get out from under the high energy bills. I set up a window air conditioner in my family room so that I could sleep. When it was time to update the gas furnace, the HVAC company suggested investing into central A/C at the same time, but because of a dealership special as well as a manufacturer’s rebate, the upgrade wasn’t overly upscale. I have been surprised as well as amazed by how much I prefer having a whole-house cooling system. The improvement is huge. Instead of having a single room perfectly cool, the entire beach house is now comfortable. It is such a relief to step inside on a warm as well as humid day. Even when the weather is mild, I still run the air conditioner for the sake of air circulation as well as filtration. With the windows closed, the beach house stays a lot cleaner. I no longer deal with an influx of debris, pollen, bugs as well as exhaust fumes. I don’t notice noise pollution such as traffic as well as barking dogs. I sleep better at night as well as have more energy during the day. Because I chose a top of the line air conditioner that features a 26 SEER rating, the electric bills aren’t inadequate. I assume the price tag is worth it for healthier indoor air pollen levels. I am also relieved to no longer need to carry the window air conditioner up as well as down from the attic.
