I tried to talk her out of doing that, but she thought it was a good idea on the recommendation of her doctor.
The hardest thing that happened was when my wife passed away. It was the biggest tragedy that could have fallen upon this family. Well, the only blessing is that our daughter survived the birth and she was as healthy as could be. I didn’t even realize how dangerous my wife’s health complication was after the birth, it all happened so swiftly. I mean, I knew something was off about the hospital as soon as we walked into the place for the first time. These people keep the A/C cranked up like they are polar bears. I used to joke about that with my wife, and she said it was just to control the spread of germs. They would never adjust the temperature control settings either, no matter how many times you asked them. I feel in a way that was a part of the issue. Maybe my wife’s body was extra stressed from having to keep warm. She requested a lot of blankets and she still felt like she was freezing. I also don’t think it helped that they injected my wife with the flu vaccine before she gave birth. I tried to talk her out of doing that, but she thought it was a good idea on the recommendation of her doctor. Well, now my wife is gone and I have been raising our child. I try to do what’s best for her, but I do have a strong distrust of doctors after my wife died in their care. Our child is brilliant though, and she gets good grades. I even got her a nice window A/C unit for her last birthday and she loves it.
