The tune-up was scheduled to begin at 10am

When the weather gets colder, it’s time to use the furnace.

  • Before I begin to use the furnace for the winter season, I always have a tune-up and examination performed on the furnace and all of the heating appliances.

It’s a great way to save money during the winter months, and it helps maintain the longevity of the appliance. I scheduled a winter tune up for the furnace last weekend. The tune up was scheduled to begin at 10 am. I had an appointment at 1, but I knew I would have plenty of time after the tune-up was finished. I’ve had plenty of service appointments on the furnace in the past and they usually take about an hour.I got up around 8 in the morning and I had some breakfast. I had a cup of coffee and I was sitting at the table reading a newspaper. I anticipated the service technician arriving at any moment. The minutes slowly ticked away and it was 10:45 when I decided to call the HVAC repair service. The manager for the HVAC repair service apologized for the mix-up. They had me scheduled for the next day at 10 am. That manager offered to send a technician to perform the tune up service at that very moment, but I decided to wait until the next day. I’m not sure if it was my mistake or theirs. I could have written the wrong day on the calendar when I made an appointment. The next day the service tech was at my front door bright and early and on time.
