Using a professional for an umoveable clog

I had a absolutely slow moving powder room drain for quite some time, then i would time the middle piece out and wash the gunk off of it… That used to help.

Then it started to not make a difference.

Then I began dumping the drain cleaner down there. That sort of helped. Then I used a plumber’s snake to remove hair and grime, and after that, I was tapped out. The clog seemed to be larger and deeper than anything I could have imagined. I realized that I need to call a plumber for drain cleaning! Getting an unblocked sink done isn’t exactly glamorous. It isn’t hard though. The plumber uses a much larger, more impressive snake to get all the gross things out… He then clears away any grime and picks up after himself. The appointment doesn’t even take an hour and it shows a sizable, immediate reward. I was cheerful that I finally called a professional because the guy told me that my blockage was going to start leading to sizable complications with piping and possibly my septic system, however you don’t want to mess with drainage for a long stage of time. You don’t want to stop the flow of water, however so having a professional remove any clog is always smart. The guy also told me that drain cleaners tend to corrode pipes and make the situation worse. You can honestly make a blockage go deeper with a drain cleaner. So that will be the last time I attempt to pour liquid down a drain hoping for a quick fix.
