I can’t pretend to be a very handy human being. In fact, I can barely use a screwdriver let alone figure out a massive DIY project. I don’t know how people are always going online and getting themselves confidently involved in brand new Innovative home projects. None of this is easy to me or seems like a good idea. This is why I do everything I can to stay away from the hardware store. However, a few weeks ago and my wife asked me to make a quick stop at our local shop to pick up some extra air filters for the central heating, cooling, and air quality control system at home. I ran into the hardware store to grab our air filters and happened to notice that they had temperature guns located nearby. When I asked an employee about these strange temperature detection devices next to the HVAC supplies he told me that people were using temperature guns to detect warm air leakage from their houses. This way, they can figure out where they are losing high-quality treated indoor air and remedy the indoor air quality control issue with insulation in all the right places. I decided to get one of the temperature monitoring devices on a whim. Within a few hours I knew exactly where our treated indoor air was escaping after passing through the central HVAC system. Now, I just need to plug up all of the holes that cause us to have hot and cold temperature fluctuations and high energy bills. I have to say, this is a home improvement project I can actually handle.
