You can’t work from home with a broken furnace

I’ve been working from home for months now, and frankly, I’m getting tired of it.

It’s been pretty annoying and I wish that I could just go back into the office and work in my nice warm cubicle the way that I used to before all of these shutdowns started earlier in this year.

It wasn’t so bad back in the summer when the weather was still warm outside. The temperatures were in the high eighties all summer long and I ran the air conditioning almost all summer long. Luckily for me, I have a really great central air conditioning system and the cooling bills weren’t too bad this year. I didn’t really even mind working from home during the summer because sometimes I would even sit outside in the sun during meetings and when I wasn’t on a call. So that was pretty nice. However, now that the weather is cooling down and it’s time to turn on the heating system, I have figured out that I am going to have a real problem this year. There’s definitely something wrong with my furnace and I don’t know what it is. I don’t really want to have to pay a huge furnace repair bill, but I can’t exactly work here all winter long with a broken furnace. I guess I’m going to just have to go ahead and pay for the repairs whether I want to or not. I’m hoping that it’s a simple repair and that it won’t cost that much. I guess I will make an appointment in the morning.
