It was roughly 20 years ago when I moved away from my hometown.
- I decided to come back recently when I was able to get a good job back at home.
It was great being back and getting to see some of my old friends and my family members. I was delighted that many of the same businesses were open like the burger joint I used to hang out at with my friends. I went there and the food still smelled so good and the temperature control settings were great. I even went to visit my old school. The school actually looked the same on the outside, but the inside was completely remodeled. They had the place looking really nice. The thing about the school was that it used to have uneven temperature control settings throughout the building. Now when I was inside, the whole place felt comfortable. I went to speak to the Principal and she easily recognized me. We started chatting about how things have been and she let me know that they actually did upgrade the HVAC to a ductless HVAC system. They have HVAC zone control so they can have customized temperature control settings in different parts of the building. They also had a UV air purification system installed which explained why they had such great air quality. After visiting with her and some of my old teachers who were still there, I got together with some old friends. It was crazy because everybody had their own families and everything. I have to say, it’s great to be back in my old hometown, but so much has changed.
