My toddler seemed to be fascinated with the filtration room in the sea lion cove

When we were at the zoo, we ended up going to this sea lion cove to view the sea lions while they were swimming in the water.

I don’t know why but the door was open to the filtration room and my toddler just went running inside of there.

I told her no and she just kept trying to check everything out. They had all kinds of interesting equipment in there and also one of the workers was in there looking everything over. I was curious so I asked him about how they keep the water at the right temperature control settings. He said it wasn’t too difficult, they had an advanced water heating system as well as even a cooling system if they needed to cool the water down from being too overheated. I thought it was very interesting, basically like an HVAC system for underwater creatures. It made sense that these sea lions come from certain parts of the world and they are accustomed to certain climates. If they didn’t get just the right temperature control settings in their environment, they probably wouldn’t be as healthy as they could be. I finally took my toddler away to see other animals in the zoo, but I think that she loved that filtration room the best. I don’t really know why. I thought she would have preferred seeing the animals. Maybe she would be interested in becoming a marine biologist or something to that extent. Who knows, but she does seem to be interested in filtration equipment and temperature control machines.
