Whole-loft humidifier for Winter season

My skin always gets so dry in the Winter months, and my mom always used to say that this was caused by the extreme Winter conditions, then she said it was the cold air that caused it, and i am not so sure she was 100% correct. I have been reading that it is really the oil oil furnaces in our homes that cause most of our dry Winter skin concerns, however after all, how long does the average person spend outside in the elements? For me, that answer is only a few minutes every morning, but however, I spend all morning long in one heated room or another. So this theory makes sense, the articles I read also said that you can combat this dry skin issue by having a whole-loft humidifier installed in your home. These whole-loft humidifiers hook up to your Heating plus A/C system plus the 2 systems work togethers. The whole-loft humidifier also hooks up to your fresh water pipes plus it takes the water directly from there. So there are no reservoirs to fill or anything savor that. The humidity control can be as complex or simple as you would like, then you can get humidistats that automatically adjust the humidity in the house, based on your settings… Or you can set it up so there are just water knobs plus you turn them on, more or less, depending on how you know about the humidity levels in the house. I undoubtedly savor the humidistat option. I am not sure I would be able to figure out the knob thing. I would rather just set the humidity to a normal setting plus then not have to worry about it. Then I wouldn’t have dry skin all of the time in the Winter months.
