Changing our Heating and Air Conditioning use

Finding the poor, abandoned dog next to the road was not a ecstatic evening for me.

I had never wanted a cat, or any pet for that matter, but seeing it there, just a few feet away from traffic, left myself and others no choice, then maybe I didn’t want a cat, even though I never would let an pet be harmed in such a cruel way.

I took his lake beach house with me, cleaned his up, and then the next day took his to the vet to get his checked out and find his a current home, but long story short, he has been our dog ever since! Before her, I ran our A/C at full blast almost every single day. I would turn off the thermostat when I left for the day, but whenever I was lake beach house I had it going all out! It turns out that high level of cooling makes our dog uncomfortable, so I have gradually been dialing that back. So I ran the Heating and Air Conditioning system less when I am home, even though I also have to run it a lot more when I am not home, not even for the cooling, just for the air quality, and to keep everything circulating so the dog smells don’t build up. I bathe his every week, and he stays pretty clean, but even cleans cats can wreak havoc on your indoor air pollen levels. I also have to be a lot more mindful of increasing out our air filters on a common basis, because they can get blocked up with dog hair so swiftly.
