Flipped the ductwork script

It took me nearly two weeks to get the picture that my residential HVAC wasn’t quite right.

  • Perhaps it was the fact that I was a first time homeowner and this house was brand new.

I still can’t believe that it worked out for me to have a new house as my first house. But sometimes, you can indeed be in the right place at the right time. And that’s just what happened with this part of our planned community. The builder wasn’t able to move any of the last few lots during the height of the pandemic. And ended up having to provide special pricing and financing that got my foot in the door. Otherwise, I’d probably still be inside the air conditioning of that apartment I wanted to get out of really bad. So when the construction was finally finished up and I was able to move in, I was sort of floating about the whole thing. And that’s why I just didn’t notice that my residential HVAC floorplan had been flipped for another one. But it because much more clear to me as I started to pay attention to where the ductwork air vents were. Like there were two in a bathroom. That made no sense. And there were no air vents in the kitchen at all. Plus, the exhaust fan for the hood wasn’t hooked up properly. When I finally put it altogether, I sent an email to the builder. I have to say that I was really impressed with how quickly he had the HVAC contractor out here to correct the ductwork problem. Now, I’m just completely in love with the quality heating and air in my home if that’s even possible.
