My sibling seems to have no concept of protecting one’s investments… He prefers to talk about how much currency he makes although he seems to be rather parsimonious when it comes to particular things, and i have noticed that he will often purchase extravagant investments like fancy cars, however then, he cannot be bothered to have them properly worked on so that they will be maintained. He figures that by the time his extravagant car is ready for a tune-up, he may really well be ready to trade it out for something that is the next best thing on the road! I think this is a really irresponsible way to look at things, plus this behavior of his extends also to how he treats his heating plus a/c unit. I came to his household recently, plus we were having a conversation. He mentioned that he was having trouble with his a/c component lately. He was laughing as he confessed that he genuinely thought that it was time to call someone out. Out of curiosity, I asked him where the air filter was installed. I was kind of surprised that he even knew where it went, especially when I pulled it out from its housing after I turned off the a/c. I find it really difficult to believe to this day what he answered me with. He said that obviously the air filter was doing its task as it had filtered out quite a lot of dirt!
