I am still trying to figure out why I bought a cabin.
I only use the cabin once every year and it’s for either a week or just a weekend trip.
I’m so busy with work and don’t have the time to go to it. I do love every minute I have it in though. I really should start renting it out for others as an Airbnb or something. The thought of complete strangers spending time in my cabin isn’t something I really want to let happen. I was able to go this past weekend. Unfortunately, it was just that, the weekend. This past weekend wasn’t at all great. The weather was amazing and just being outside there was amazing as well. The only issue is that when I tried to sleep The first night I found out that my air conditioning wasn’t working in the cabin. So the 2 nights I slept there, it was awful. I tried calling a local HVAC company but really didn’t know who to contact until Sunday. That day I was leaving to head back home. I saw the HVAC company on my way back home and took down the number. I’d have to set up an appointment with the HVAC company and hopefully, they can send out a cooling technician some time. I’m not even sure of a time to set up an appointment because I don’t know when I’ll be here next. Maybe I’ll call the heating and cooling company when I get home and see if I can schedule an appointment for next year and spend a week at the cabin. I overall need the break anyways.
