Today is Saturday, all day, like my gram used to say to me when I asked what day it is.
- It is funny that I didn’t even know what day it was when I was younger, and the funnier thing is I still forget what day it is now at 55 years old.
And maybe that is a bad thing, I’m not sure. I work seven days a week, so there is no weekend or Mondays for me, as all days are the same in my world. I’ve been working about 15 hours a week since 1999 when my HVAC equipment manufacturing job ended and I never went back to that corporate world again. I couldn’t see myself working in an office environment anymore after seven years of doing it, so I quit and became a skydiver and comedian for the next 17 years. My HVAC company where I work now has me working part time doing heat pump sales and service, and I intend to work for them for about six more years before I do something different. We can’t tell the future though so there is no point in even saying I will stay with them six more years, I could be gone by then who knows. Anyway, today I am meeting some heating suppliers for a coffee and then we will all take a cool swim in the sea before going back to work at the cooling corp for a couple of hours. I am going to get some hot water soon too because they are delivering my device this afternoon.
