He knew that he had to call the HVAC company to get out an HVAC tech immediately to look at the toy factory’s air conditioning system.
It was a miserable, hot day at the toy factory. Everything was normal until I felt a wave of heat and I knew something was wrong. The air conditioning had failed, the temperature of the building was increasing and it wasn’t comfortable one bit. As I looked around, I can tell that my fellow co-workers were also feeling the heat. My buddy Mark went to the office and took off his safety gear to cool off. A few others followed to do the same thing. Our safety gear is important to wear at all times while we are in the working area but when we are in the break room, we are allowed to take it off. After a few minutes, I couldn’t handle it anymore and I had to do the same thing as the others. We all were in the break room trying to stay cool. The break room is one place that has a fan in there but to me, it didn’t seem to work great because it was just circulating the rising heat temperature. A manager came into the break room after noticing the production was decreasing. As soon as he saw us all struggling with the heat, he knew something was wrong. He knew that he had to call the HVAC company to get out an HVAC tech immediately to look at the toy factory’s air conditioning system. It didn’t take long for the cooling technician to show up and he got to work immediately. In general, the factory is warm but when the air conditioning doesn’t work, then it turns into a furnace. After a short period of time, the HVAC tech took care of the issue and I felt the temperature started to drop. It was a nice, hot break but it’s time to get back to work.
