Damaged air duct affected the efficiency of the furnace

I was managing an accommodation facility when the customers complained that the rooms were too cool and the digital control component useless.

I didn’t need to inform the owner because that clearly indicated that the heating component we used, a furnace, was malfunctioning again.

My buddy and I had already done duct sealing for ourselves some months prior, so I expected the problem to be elsewhere however not in the air duct. Since we lived far from the local city where the heating company is based, we had signed out for apartment services handled by their mobile Heating and Air Conditioning tech team. All we needed to do was call and book them, and we’d be added to their schedule. My buddy and I were lucky enough that the Heating and Air Conditioning serviceman would be around our area the next day, so my fear of losing more customers was reduced slightly. I have to deal with heating technology troubles because, most times, they involve taking up more budgeting tasks which have to cover the unexpected. The last time we had a problem, the heating industry expert told us to consider installing a heat pump because we had the weather to favor its functioning and the needed space… But once I shared the cost of purchase and installation with the facility owner, the idea was shot down immediately, so we’ve been stuck with the heating repair, and now here I was, dealing with another heating maintenance issue similar to what we had done before. The problem would persist until we either changed the ducts or the entire equipment, which meant that the rooms would have troubles with heating and cooling. I am now working on a presentation on why we need to make current decisions to keep the customers coming because we already had one downside review submitted online.
