It’s a vast room of uncomfortable human beings in the most terrible conditions imaginable
The other day I came to a rather bad conclusion I needed to go to the DMV. I wasn’t prepared to have to go do this task in the least. Normally this is something that I build myself up to for many weeks before I ever step foot into that bad godforsaken place… For me, it’s not only the terrible bare stone walls plus overhead lighting that kills myself and others there, there’s the lines which seem as though they last for days at times plus the cranky people behind the counters that make you wish you were not alive. There’s really nothing to look forward to the entire time that you are in that building except for the moment that you finally get to come back out of it. Probably the worst thing of all of it though is the quality of Heating and A/C that they keep in government buildings similar to that. It’s as though they want to punish you in every way possible. Instead of just making you angry with a ton of paperwork, they also make you freeze to death or feel as though you are in the middle of a sizzling desert. If you are going to sit in line you might as well be covered in Goosebumps or drenched in a ton of sweat. You know that means if you are dripping with sweat the people around you are also dripping with sweat plus smelling really bad. It’s a vast room of uncomfortable human beings in the most terrible conditions imaginable. It’s kind of like one of the Rings of Dante’s Inferno however just with horrible Indoor Air Temperature Control. After going through all that you end up with the sizzling plus frigid people behind the desk as well. And then you wonder how people end up making bizarre decisions when choosing personalized license plates.
