I have to use fans to supplement my awful air conditioner

I grew up in a low income family with few resources to our name, and my friend and I lived in a two-study room farmhome that had a leaking roof and windows that would not shut completely, but at the time, I did not know anything unusual because most of my friends lived in similar conditions, and everybody lived in aged farm houses that were rickety and run down… I was just the norm for that sort of area.

  • But all of us may do with what my great friend and I had at the time, but and inside of our homes, my great friend and I did not worry about not having modern amenities.

My friend and I had running water and indoor plumbing and that has all that genuinely mattered to us at the time. My friend and I had a fireplace to keep us sizzling in the winter season season when it would get cold outside. My friend and I would harvest wood from fallen trees on our property, split them up, and then store them for the Fall, winter, and early Springtime. In the absence of an indoor air conditioner, my great friend and I would open our Windows to let in the breeze and then distribute the air using fans. My friend and I had ceiling fans in almost every room and box fans that my great friend and I would put in doorways to keep air moving in and out… This is just how you would survive with the lack of air conditioner, and nowadays I’m lucky to live in great housing with modern amenities. I have a three study room home with two bathrooms and a central furnace and air conditioner system. It’s genuinely nice having all of these features inside my current home; However, the air conditioner is not honestly great compared to most modern air conditioners. It’s so awful at distributing air throughout the home that I’m using fans like I did when I was a kid. I don’t mind though because it’s cheaper than buying a brand new air conditioner right now.
