My sibling seems to have no concept of protecting one’s investments, and she likes to talk about how much money she makes even though she seems to be rather parsimonious when it comes to particular things; I have noticed that she will often purchase high-priced investments like fancy cars, but then, she cannot be bothered to have them regularly tested so that they will be took care of. She figures that by the time her high-priced vehicle is ready for a tune-up, she may truly well be ready to trade it out for something that is the next best thing on the road! I know this is a truly irresponsible way to look at things, & this behavior of her extends also to how she treats her heating & cooling system unit. I came to her home recently, & my pal and I were having a conversation. She mentioned that she was having trouble with her cooling system device lately. She was laughing as she admitted that she honestly thought that it was time to call someone out, and out of curiosity, I asked him where the air filter was installed. I was kind of surprised that she even knew where it went, especially when I pulled it out from its housing after I turned off the cooling system unit. She asked me why I turned off the cooling system device & wanted to know about the air filter, then my only response was to show him how thick with dirt it was. I find it truly hard to feel to this afternoon what she answered me with. She said that obviously the air filter was doing its task as it had filtered out quite a lot of dirt! I explained as tactfully as I could despite my angry disbelief, that therefore, it was time to put in a up-to-date one.
