Painting studio gets awesome ventilation… until summer

When my spouse and I were looking for a new condo I had a few basic requirements.

  • I wanted a rather sizable backyard with a lot of trees.

I wanted sizable windows that would allow natural light to stream in throughout the afternoon. I wanted a few outdoor hanging spaces so we could like the nature all around us. And, lastly I wanted some kind of spare room that I could turn into a painting studio. For multiple years I have been trying to start an at-condo art business. When we found a house with a separate studio space I was overjoyed. The two of us instantaneously got the house and I got down to work.., and until the Summer season rolled around. You see, the indoor air temperature in my studio felt really amazing in the Winter when we viewed the house. There was a small gas furnace set up in the studio which allowed for accurate air temperature control in the small space. I enjoyed the miniature heating unit because it let myself and others suddenly change the indoor air temperature and air quality on a whim. Doing so did not affect our Energy bill in any way. The concern all started as the outdoor air temperature started to increase. Suddenly, my painting studio was not unquestionably comfortable, so much as it was sweltering warm and oppressively humid. Obviously, the miniature gas furnace did not help. My paints were always drying up or developing weird colorations thanks to all the heat and humidity. I knew that I needed a real , because opening the windows was not splitting it. Eventually we found mini split ductless heating and cooling systems and had a single installed. My painting studio is finally functional and I can breathe again.
