My mom has to come & live with my hubby & I, and i knew that things were getting poor when I went to see my mom a couple of weeks ago.
I didn’t entirely understand how poor things were until last weekend when I visited my mom & she was standing in the dining room.
It was 50° inside of the condo & there was no heat… My mom said that she tried to put a couple of logs on the fire & she dropped one on her foot, but there was no way that my mom was going to be able to use the wood heater anymore. My hubby & I talked about our options. My buddy and I could pay for my mom to convert from wood heat to gas, oil, or electric. My buddy and I could also have Mom move in with us! When I mentioned moving into the condo with my hubby & I & our three kids, my mom sounded like she was entirely excited about the idea. My hubby & I immediately started working on the new room. We’re having a corporation come to give us some estimates next week. My buddy and I want to put in a bathroom with a shower & a toilet & my buddy and I want to make sure that the room has a heating & a/c that is separate from ours. My buddy and I like it cold in the condo & I know my mom enjoys it to be warm. That’s how I knew something was wrong when it was 50° inside of the house! A ductless heating & a/c will work good in that small space.
