I could not understand what was going on.
We went for an Easter egg hunt the day before, and suddenly, it was affecting our media air cleaner, but I didn’t know why. A few eggs were rotting abruptly and I could not find them. All I could smell was rotten eggs and the media air cleaner wasn’t helping remove the odor. I asked Jill and Bill where they had put their eggs, and they showed me their baskets. I thought they had twenty eggs in total when they got home, but now there were only ten. I wanted to know where he put the other ten eggs, but none said a word. I knew Jill and Bill hadn’t eaten them, because there were no shells in the trash, on the table, or on the floor. They asked me if chickens came out of eggs, and I told him yep, which was right after we got home. We sat there talking when they asked if the eggs became chickens when it was warm. I told Mark about the strange conversation I was having with our twins. He told me to check around all the air vents to see if he had put eggs on them. I found the ten missing eggs on the air vent, but some of them broke and the eggs were rotting inside the air duct. The media air cleaner could not get rid of the odor because they were rotting abruptly, and the odor would go away until I cleaned the mess up. I felt sick cleaning the mess inside the air vent, but someone had to do it. Jill and Bill didn’t know they had done wrong. They just wanted some pet chicks for Easter.
