I rolled out of bed around 9:30 or so after sleeping in a bit.
- Last night my pal Ed and I had a fun time on the coast with a group of friends, tunes, beer, and a few volleyball games.
This is my 30th or 31st summer playing this sport and I just want to make it one more summer. My knees don’t have much cartilage left, so I am playing a little bit less than last year, but with the therapy I’ve been doing on my legs I think I will be OK for at least 1 more year. I quit a few times because of the local business and I got too busy with work, but then I found time from my busy Heating, Ventilation, and A/C tech task to get back to the sport that I’ve loved playing since 1992. I started playing in high school and fell in care about with it immediately and have been playing pretty much nonstop, except for when I got too busy at the heating corp for a few weeks. This week I will rest and not play, but I know Ed will be back out there again playing later today. But I need to labor for the cooling corp this week during the afternoon and don’t finish each afternoon till I get the air ductwork cleaned for this big commercial task my pal and I are doing. I usually get done with all of my labor by 4 or so, sometimes I even finish by 2pm, so I will have time to go and watch Ed play while I chill out in the sand and relax in my beach chair.
