Whole-house humidifier for Winter season

My skin consistently gets so dry in the Winter weeks, then my Dad consistently used to say that this was caused by the extreme Winter conditions, but she said it was the cold air that caused it, but i am not so sure she was 100% correct.

I have been reading that it is particularly the gas furnaces in our homes that cause most of our dry Winter skin issues, but after all, how long does the average woman spend outside in the elements? For me, that answer is only a few minutes every morning, and however, I spend all morning long in a single heated room or another.

So this theory makes sense! The articles I learn also said that you can combat this dry skin issue by having a whole-house humidifier installed in your home. These whole-house humidifiers hook up to your Heating plus Air Conditioning idea plus the several systems labor togethers. The whole-house humidifier also hooks up to your fresh water pipes plus it takes the water directly from there. So there are no reservoirs to fill or anything like that. The humidity control can be as complex or self-explanatory as you would like, then you can get humidistats that automatically adjust the humidity in the house, based on your settings! Or you can set it up so there are just water knobs plus you turn them on, more or less, depending on how you believe about the humidity levels in the house. I particularly like the humidistat option. I am not sure I would be able to figure out the knob thing. I would rather just set the humidity to a normal setting plus then not have to worry about it. Then I wouldn’t have dry skin all of the time in the Winter weeks.
