Work as a veterinarian can be hard

I actually love my line of work, when I meet new people they often ask how I can report to the office every afternoon without losing my sense of compassion? Surely, at some point you must get burnt out with all of the difficult things that you see each afternoon, they say.

  • Well, the truth is that I am always glad to help living things when they need me.

This is why I became a veterinarian in the first place. Don’t get me wrong, you do not have an easy life as a veterinarian. I work easily hard for my money and I do my best to take care of every single fur ball who walks through our door. That being said, my dedication to my career has absolutely paid off in other ways. For instance, last week when my heating and cooling control component failed at my house I was able to call on a professional heating and A/C professional for immediate help without panicking about the emergency repair fees that I was facing. I had noticed that my air quality was decreasing for a while. It seemed like less and less warm and cold air was passing through our vents each afternoon, but as a result, I was cranking up the temperature control every time I got home. I knew that my heating and A/C plan was in trouble, and I did not expect the entire air handling plan to break down. When it did, I confidently reached into our pocket and pulled out a corporation card for a local heating and A/C professional. I called him and he was able to repair our heating and cooling component in less than an hour. The best part is, he did not even charge me. Why would he be so kind? Because last week I performed a similar miracle when I saved his best friend’s life.
