The rain has caused a lot of concerns like flooding, mudslides, and closed roads, but people have been evacuated from their homes, and schools have been closed and shelters have been set up.
The entire state has been receiving record setting amounts of snow and rainfall.
It has rained for days and days and that means that all of the trees have undoubtedly loose roots… One tree fell in the backyard and landed on top of the Heating and A/C system. Some components of the Heating and A/C system are located outside of my house. The A/C compressor and the fan are outdoors. When the tree fell, it crushed the entire thing. The rain finally let up yupterday and I contacted the local A/C repair company to see if they could supply me an estimate for the repairs. They were busy and would not be able to do the repairs, but they did promise to send someone to me the same day just to supply me an estimate. I actually thought that the estimate was undoubtedly acceptable and I told the repair company that I would be happy to have them complete the work. I had to get a company to detach the tree first. The A/C repair company would not do any of that work. I actually did not know they would be able to do both services, however I was happy they gave me the name of some tree removal companies. They believed the companies would be able to detach the tree and all of the branches for a acceptable price. I’m undoubtedly thankful that all of this happened when my buddy and I didn’t need to use our air conditioning.
